First off, thank you to all the parents for making this weekend possible. We know everyone has a busy schedule and to squeeze in 3 to 4 games in amazing so thank you!

We started the weekend with a close to home match between our 2015 Storm and our partners, Cityzens FC who went on to win the tournament. A real close game but unfortunately a few individual errors cost us in a 4-3 loss. Our next 2 games for this group showed with a 14-1 win and a thriller which ended up 4-2 to the good guys!

Our 2015 Storm team finished 2nd place in group play with 2 wins and 1 loss.

Next was our 2013B Tornadoes. A brand new team in the fall to travel soccer, their trajectory has only been going up. With a tough fall season followed a great winter with lots of growth. This showed in our tournament play as we had 2 wins and 1 loss which helped us qualify for the final with a 5-1 win, 1-2 loss and 4-1 win. Unfortunately, the final was a step too far in a challenging back to back game with a 4-0 loss. But from not qualifying in their previous event, this was a huge step in the right direction!

Finally our 2011B Typhoons group. We started off with a very close 1-0 win, with our goal coming right at the death after quite a dominant display of possession soccer.  Our second game was a 10-0 win as the other team only had 8 players, with the game being a wash. Typhoons final game was a narrow 2-1 loss however with a good head to head and tiebreaker record, we advanced on. In the final, the boys sprang to life and running out into a commanding 3-0 win. This marks the Typhoons first tournament win and a memorable weekend in the rain!
